Good Free anti-Virus?

Hey,



Im currently investigating a hoax E-Mail that went out which was Supposedly sent by the AFP.



This E-Mail contains information about a virus called a Olympic torch.



Both Symactec and McAfee (The program that supposedly found it) Have Confirmed this virus to ba a HOAX

Also CNN supposedly have a story about it on their show.



No mention of it on their Website:

Have a browse NO MENTION AT ALL!



But the Warning E-Mail Contains an attachment which is unusual in an E-Mail form the AFP Warning about Attachments.



The E-Mail originally cane from: krworley@bigpond.com



NOT AN AFP E-Mail address!!!



So here is my question



Can i get a folder that will Stop a virus from functioning that is stored in it even if its from DLing a picture?

Usually the AVG free edition anti virus works dont works in infected archives...
Good free anti virus programs would be anti-vir, clam-win and avg. I personaly like avg or anti-vir.
i think avast works better than AVG
I recommend NOD32 Antivirus System. This is really a good one.
