symatic anti-virus is my fav but spybot search and destroy is good to
AVG Free Edition is the best, its quick doesn't slow down computer start up you can download from free.grisoft.com its the best, better than Norton Antivirus, that you have to buy.
Tell you what. Try going to download.com, and trying some of the high maintenance stuff.

If you really are undecided, and don't know where to turn, then I suggest norton antivirus 2008. Ok, it's 2008, so you should already be looking for 2009!
