Which anti virus should be used to remove the nhatquanglan virus?virus scan

nhatquanglan is not really a virus. It's a spyware. But whatever it is, it's still a problem. I had it before and was able to remove it through prevx. It detected it, and I was able to get rid of it. Now, I acquired nhatquanglan again, but the 30-day trial period of prevx has expired already, so we are facing the same prob. I tried using lots of malware/spyware/adware scanner and removal, but I failed to get rid of nhatquanglang. I even tried spybot search%26destroy, no good. Now, I'm in the middle of downloading adaware by lavasoft, hoping to take that disgusting nhatquanglan thing out of my pc. You can try it too, maybe it'll solve our prob.

Hopefully you are using antivirus / firewall from a RELIABLE vendor like McAfee... all of these vendors tools will be able to detect and remove virus, trojan, worms, etc.. as long as they are PROPERLY configured and automatically updating with the newest definitions.

Very rarely you will need to close out of your browser and manually remove files if they are temp internet files in use.. and also very rarely some vendors will provide a specific tool to remove a virus (until they can be added to the virus definitions from the vendor)..

Turn off your system restore (until you're clean and then re-enable it to create a clean restore point). Update your virus definition files (if you're not using a good antivirus, get one).. and perform a complete scan.
