Norton anti-virus/firefoxbrowser?

quick question...........is norton a/virus compatible with mozzila firefox,if not what a/virus program is?

Norton anti-virus/firefoxbrowser?suzuki

Yes.. antivirus software works on file system level and some work on network stack level, so it doesn't matter if you use IE, FireFox or any other application.

To elaborate, when your webbrowser downloads files/pages, it will get scanned as soon as it is downloaded.. and just like a firewall, content gets scanned on ip stack level, before it reaches any application, such as any web browser.

hmm i use them together and working like charm ;)
Mine works fine
Yes. They will work just fine together. Also, suggest you have a FireWall. If your Norton does not provide a FireWall, suggest you download and install Zone Alarm. It works in the background and is extremely thorough. You can get the download from

www.download.com
i would use norton and spybot
try using KASPERSKY norton is pretty rubbish anyway
