The best way to regain RAM is to get CCleaner and Ad-Aware from download.com. Also go to Start%26gt;%26gt; Run and type in msconfig. Get rid of any background programs that load into memory. Be careful not to delete good programs though. You can google them to make sure they can be removed. You remove by unchecking them in msconfig. Clutter be gone, memory regained! By the way, memory is cheap and usually easy to install. That's yet another option.

You can purchase a ram stick and it just clicks in place inside the hard drive. Check your instruction book and see what type you should buy that is compatible with your computer. You can call a pc store and tell them what you have and they will suggest what to buy. I wouldn't settle for less than 512gb
