iam having virus problem..i hav installed AVJfreeEDITION in my computer..but it shows some viruses and dosent delete or quarentine it..i used bitdefender online scanner to get rid of these viruses but it is also not removing them completely..my computer is working very slow..internet is also working slow..i hav DSL connection and internet explorer(p4,128ram,40gbHDD,winXPSERVICEP... tell me the best antivirus which i can download free from internet or tell about some online scanners which catches the viruses and deletes them...pls help..

AVG is a good free antivirus software
Norton anti-virus. I think its the best. Not cheap but the best.
I too sugest Avest,and u can also go with McAfee
I would recommend AOL Active Virus Shield. It catches more viruses than the other free options like AVG. My other problems with AVG include the fact that they actually do not allow you to use it on more than one computer, and also there is no way to temporarily pause or disable while playing a game for example.
