Norton anti virus..... Help?

Guys, I need your professional knowledge. How can I remove Norton Ant Virus from my computer. Its stuck in my system and wont be deleted. Any tips??? Plsssssssssss

If you go to Nortons web site and look they will do it for you look for how to remove when you find it they will show where to click and it will down load a progam that will do it for you.
There is someting wrong. Why are you deleting Norton Antivirus. Any way yo can remove it by selecting add/remove option in the control pannel. Immediately you insatll a standard antivirus soft ware such as Norton, AVG , Avast ( free antivirus software and Ad-aware, Ewido ( free spyware removers). You can download free softwares at

I had the same thing happen to me just yesterday....it took forever to remove it and to be honest, I don't know what suddenly made it uninstall. I just kept trying over and over again using the Add/Remove Programs feature on the Control Panel and eventually it worked.

Sorry, I know that's not much of an answer, but honestly I don't know why it suddenly decided to uninstall itself after refusing to so many times.
Norton can't be deleted, it has to be uninstalled. Click start, settings, control panel, ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS. There will be two or three there start with NORTON ANTIVIRUS and that will uninstall all applications of Norton. "PEACE"
Have you gone to Add/Remove Programs and removed it? Also, try removing all of the Symantec items from the list as well.

If you have done all of that, you can attempt to navigate to your Program Files Folder in My Computer, and manual delete the folder, though that should really be a last resort.
