i wouldn't download anything but music from limewire. even some of the music on there is embedded with a virus. the software is a major infection risk. i recommend you go to http://lavasoft.de and download AdAware SE Personal. Its free, and its better than most of the antivirus softwares out there.

for future reference, try not to download any ".exe" files from a site that you are unsure of. Only download from trusted sites. Try to avoid ".zip" files from P2P networks and other untrusted sites. They may contain a virus that will install itself upon extraction.

NO! YOU NEVER WANT TO DOWNLOAD A .EXE FILE, ONLY DOWNLOAD FILES THAT ARE .ZIP!!!!!
You get that message with every executable file(.exe) file that you get. If the size of file is what it actually should be, then you can download it.
NO! never download executables from Limewire. 95% of the time they are virii. It means that it might contain a virus
I agree that you shouldn't download any executables from Limewire or any other file-sharing system. There are too many nastys out there.
