please help!

i want to safe my pc cuz i have inficted by a virus makes my all applications dont work just when i press the app. icon a dos ( command prompt ) appears and dis-appears fast, i tried MzAfee and AntVir Personal edition. but they dont help.

I recommend AVG as an anti virus, although eTrust's 12 month free trial is excellent (I'm using it and am extremely impressed).

If you need other programs, go for Zone Alarm firewall, AVG anti spyware (formerly Ewido) and SpywareBlaster.

I have been using Kaspersky for about 15 months now %26 I have to say it is second to none compared to any other AV I have ever used(Ive used AVG Norton, Macafee, Panda, NOD and PC Cillin before)

It is notable by its silence because it updates itself, checks webpages %26 emails itself without the user having to do anything (pretty much). Its also light on the resources.
