i need a virus protector
Do u have a free anti virus protector?agv
Avast it's pretty good. The interface looks different from your "every day" antivirus interface but it does the job and well. Also, the home edition (free) does not have the schedule (automatic) scans. You have to manually run them.

There is also Comodo and AVG, and even though they are good avast is better.

AVG's good and it's free. Updates are free too. One can find a copy at www.download.com.

Avast is better than AVG and AntiVir - all three are free

Free AVG AntiSpyware

There are many freely available antivirus and antispyware programs available, but none does as good a job as their pay-for counterpart. Theres a reason there are free and pay-for versions of the same software.
First off, if you have Norton or McAfee, remove them...both are bloated software and don't work very well, and slow down your computer in and of themselves.
I would recommend AVG Internet Security - Antivirus/Antispyware/Firewall/and Spam Filter all in one, and its cheaper than Norton or McAfee, and doesn't slow the computer down. I've installed it on literally hundreds of PC's with no problems. Works great.
