Are Ad-aware and AVG Anti Virus enough????

Both are the free versions, do I have enough to protect my pc?? Also when a Trojan Horse virus is detected do you just leave it in the vault?

I'm new to all this.

In anticipation, thanks for your help.....

Ad-Aware by itself should be enoug if you update often and are not a perv surfing the porn or downloading like crazy. Do not leave any trojans in any vault.... Delete them... Avg has a real time run on it. I used it for a while and I was very pleased... Running two anti virus programs does not work very well so I do not recomend using another program but there is usually no problems running two or even three ad-aware programs. Just make sure you do not delete files detected by one of the programs that is needed for the other. See how we can complicate things... Clean your computer often, delete cookies, clean temp files, defrag and run ad-aware daily. Also update both programs often.. You Should be fine. You should have a built in fire wall in your pc own security settings, make sure it is on, spy-bot is also free and is a very good compliment to Ad-aware

ZoneAlarm and Kerio are both huge improvements over the standard Windows Firewall. To maximize your security, use a LinkSys screening router in conjunction with one of the personal firewalls I mentioned earlier.
