Sounds like you have a virus. Go to start and run and type in msconfig. This will bring up a screen with your startup options - deselect everything and restart your PC - this should get your PC running at normal speed. Go to Limewire.com and download Norton Anti virus and follow the instructions in the text file so that you don't need to register or pay for the software. After you've install norton, run msconfig again and select all of the startup option so that the viruses are loaded into the PC. Norton will then be able to detect and destroy all of them.
